Carl's soap soap is manufactured in New Zealand and is triple milled for a long lasting and quality soap. He also has world famous in Whakatane scooters for grown-ups.

Jewelle's Honey

Jewelle and her family have been crafting delicious honey and sauces for three generations. They bring you the finest bush honey from the pristine Ohiwa Harbour, featuring the unique flavours of rewarewa, pohutakawa and manuka along with the sweetness of clover honey.

Nomi's Kawakawa

Nature is Nomi's vibe and this is evident in her range of products from kawakawa balm, lip balms, natural bath bombs and more.

Bill's Wooden Garden Carvings

Bill's eye-catching wooden garden decorations are a must see. Using a mixture of native and non-native timbers to create his stunning works. To contact Bill, please pop down to the market and see him in person.

Studio at the Beach

Pickles, chutney, candles, macrame, wheat bags, bath salts, plant holders and whatever else tickles Shazza's creative fancy is what you will find on her stall. New products are added regularly so keep on popping in to see what else she has come up with!

Local Photography

Capturing Whakatane, Ohope and surrounding areas in beautiful, crisp iconic photos is what Doug does best. His photos are mounted on board and are fade resistant. To contact Doug, please pop down to the market and see him in person.

Lorraine is our resident tarot card reader, she offers general/personal readings, love readings and spiritual journeys.

Established in 2020, Celtic Melts brings beautiful frangrances to your home with their 100% soy wax melts. They offer a wide variety of scents to suit every mood. Explore their collection of wax melts and burners to create the perfect ambiance for your space. 

Baby Knitting

Pounamu Carving

Bernie is a carver with a wealth of knowledge and experience. His greenstone is all New Zealand stone.

Get Potted

Gazza is often found outside of the market covered in dirt or paint as he potters (get it?!) about handmaking and painting his vibrant cement pots which you can purchase with or without one of his gorgeous plants.

Rawleigh's

Des is our local Rawleigh's Man (and the resident market gazebo fixer). Be prepared for any emergency whether that be at home, health care or out and about. Make sure you have some Rawleigh's staples on hand!

You need a sign? J.T is your man! Add a personal touch to your home or garden with these beaut custom signs made to last both indoors and out.

Opotiki Greenstone

Bings whanau connection to the South Island allows him to gather this precious pounamu which he handcrafts himself. It is a rarity to meet the person who gathers the pounamu then turns it into stunning pieces of jewellery.

Motuhora Handcrafts

Moutohora Handcrafts are jacks of many trades, they sell woodwork from recycled native timbers, knitted and crochet garments mainly using alpaca and merino. They also sell seasonal fruit and veg.

Georgie's Toys

Gina is our knitting and crochet toy making queen! She creates a variety of soft toys and takes custom orders if you have a special request. Just ask her and she will try and make it happen.

N8ture for Health

Deb from N8ture For Health has natural chemical free products and dandelion balms.

Tiny + Michael

Hats, socks, dragon flies, jewellery, earrings, $2 lucky dips and much more you will find at Tiny and Michaels stall of goodies!

Fantashia

Fantashia has all your pretties sorted, manufacturing girls dresses from 2 years to 12 years, made locally at home.

Realities Engraving

Hand engraved glass and crystal is what Realities Engraving does best, their specialty is individual commissions.

Fishin' & Knittin'

Jenny is the knitting and crochet extraordinaire while Steve is your fishing man! Jenny makes beautiful hand knitted baby clothing and gorgeous crochet blankets while Steve makes lures and other fishing bits and bobs. Mike's CNC Genie

Mike is the maker of exceptional wooden toys, and just like a genie, can make on request (within reason). He specialises in fabrication and manufacturing using CNC router and CO2 laser machines.

Bric a Brac

Our resident bric a brac lady is the lovely Liz. You'll find her trestle tables toppling with books, toys, shoes, hats, scarves, puzzles, games and more. You'll find Liz behind the trestle table with a big smile. She donates all her proceeds to charity. Onya Liz!

The Balloon Man

AJ Roses

Custom and handmade jewellery and accessories, AJ Roses attend a variety of markets all around the Bay of Plenty with their goodies.

Cobbz Creationz

Coralie makes a mixture of smaller resin pieces ranging from earrings and keyrings to resin pictures on canvas, coaster sets, candle holders and more! She loves using gemstones in resin as well. Her products are always expanding as her imagination takes off.

SODA Secrets of Diamond Art

Karen is our diamond art queen. She handmakes all her products herself. When they are finished, she gets out her trusty rolling pin, rolls each item then pops a seal over the top.

Lil Emporium

Lurleen gets all her jewellery from a lady in Auckland who handmakes everything.

Plantpouri

Wholesale plant sales with over 80 different shrubs, trees plus flaxes and grasses. There are also some non-natives including camellias, banksia and perennials. Open for pick up any time, just phone or text first. Specialising in rongoa natives.

Tui Aotearoa fudge is world famous in Whakatane. Handmade in their wee shop on The Strand their fudge is creamy and definitely moreish! Sue and the team have the staples, kiwiana faves and holiday specialities.

Delicious real berry ice creams with local berries, The Berry Boys have hot food options available as well. 

Waste Zero

Waste Zero are a community group that is focused on sharing ideas and supporting projects that bring us closer to zero waste. You can find them at the Whakatane Sunday Market on the first Sunday of each month and take all those hard to recycle bits we all have lying around the house such as household batteries, energy efficient lights, food storage containers and more.

Kaeleb's Kups

Kaeleb is a Maori artist from Rotorua that brings his bootload of handmade Kups to our market regularly. You have to be quick though as these fly off the trestle table! Kaeleb also organises wheel throwing classes for those wanting to learn with a little something to take home at the end.

The Doll Boutique

The Doll Boutique is a vibrant stall perfect for doll lovers of all ages. You'll find The Doll Boutique packed with an array of modern dolls clothes that are unique and often one offs.

Two Hawks Studio

Our beautiful Amber is a talented carver, weaver and artist based in Pikowai. She specialises in pounamu, crystals, gemstones, muka and harakeke.

Blackbird Records are a family run new and used record store based in Te Puke whose passion is music. 

The Eastern Field

The Eastern Field is a heritage seed-saving garden, plant nursery, and garden consultant. Jemma is a wealth of plant knowledge.

Sandi and Warren have been growing natives for over 15 years. If they don't have something in stock, they will try and source it elsewhere. Bulk orders are welcome so be sure to get in touch.

Cigol restaurant has THE best KFC (korean fried chicken). Once you've had them once you'll be back for more.
